The sequel to our 2019 release, Sàsq’ets II is a scent for the adventurous that speaks of the untamed wilderness - and the spirit of the courageous exploration of the unknown.
The endless forest of the Pacific Northwest harbours a secret - a reclusive one that man has known about for thousands of years. To those who discovered him, he’s known as ‘wildman of the woods’, or Sàsq’ets. To others, he is known simply as Sasquatch.
Sàsq’ets II is a lavender scent that captures the woodsy, earthy aroma of the crisp forest air, while resinous animalic undertones give you a glimpse into the life of the mythical creature with footprints too big for any man.
In Sàsq’ets II we blended some of the finest lavender oils: lavender organically produced on a family farm in British Columbia - near the hills this beast calls home, and rare Japanese lavender from the home of his cousin - Hibagon. Venturing into his backyard, we sourced Nootka wood - a name derived from its discovery on the lands of the Nootka people. You have arrived at the forest’s edge, ready to begin your search. He has been nearby - evident by an animalic note - real Castoreum, collected from beavers trapped in the rugged Canadian wilderness. Present are damp mushrooms from the forest floor, a delicate trace of smoke from century old cade oil, and a resinous amber note from ancient fossilized tree resin from the Himalayas - where another of his cousins, Yeti, is said to roam.
Each breath hints at a reclusive presence nearby as you come ever closer to a rare sighting. The Sàsq’ets is closer than you think, with animalic lavender lingering in the air.

To those who own 2019 Sàsq’ets: Sàsq’ets II contains more castoreum (animalic musk). There is a more present earthiness from mushroom absolute, and a very faint hint of smoke from cade. Jasmine absolute and Canadian monarda bring more floral complexity to the lavender.

Shave Soap: Handmade using the highest quality organic ingredients, including tallow - which we render in-house from local, pasture-raised suet. Our shave soaps are easy to lather using all types of shaving brushes. Plenty of water is required when lathering to achieve optimal cushion and slickness - apply the lather to a wet face for best results.
Aftershave: Water-based splashes that soothe and invigorate the skin from irritation, dryness and razor burn. They are full of nutrient rich organic ingredients that will leave your skin feeling soft, and can be used as a daily moisturizer. Highly concentrated - apply to a wet face for best results.
